Who is Chad Howse’s Program Good For?
If you’re wondering whether Chad Howse’s workout program called The Man Diet is right for you, then this review will help. Below, I’ve given a complete review of the program in 4 different sections. At the end of this review, I also give my final thoughts on the program, as well as a final tally.
The Man Diet
Chad Howse is well respected in the fitness industry. He’s written for publications such as Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, Bodybuilding.com, The Art of Manliness, and his Facebook page has about 9,000 followers at the time of writing this. He’s also transformed his own body from stick thin to lean and jacked. So not only does he “talk the talk”, but he “walks the walk”.
Here’s his mission taken from his website:
“My mission isn’t to give you a tip or a trick that’ll help you burn a bit of fat or build a bit of muscle. My mission don’t stop the day after I help you reach your goals. My mission is timeless. It’s to help you create something timeless. My mission is to help you Be Legendary.”
Judging by this, it seems like Chad Howse wants to actually help people. This is always good news.
Within my research, I could only find that he’s written for major health publications and that he’s transformed his own body. While this is great, it would be nice to know what his scholarly credentials are (where he went to school, what he majored in, what certfications he has). The good news is that you don’t necessarily need to have great schooling to help someone change your body. You can learn a lot through self study and through trial and error. Chad has obviously done this.

Why Was The Man Diet Made?
The Man Diet was made for a couple of reasons.
First of all, most diets aren’t made for men. If you look up the most popular diets, it’s almost always women doing them. Most women want to be skinny. Men on the other hand? They want to lose fat, build muscle, and have optimal hormone production.
Secondly, in the last 20 years, average testosterone levels in men have plummeted by 25% across all ages. This results in in impotence & low sex drive, feminine fat & man boobs, inability to build lean and strong muscle, and increases in depression, disease, & cancer.

The meat and potatoes of the whole program can be found in the Main Manual. It’s 45 pages of pure content. It teaches you everything you need to know to eat like a man. On page 12, you learn about 5 methods you can use to instantly increase your testosterone levels naturally. This will be very helpful for people who want quick results right off the bat. The rest of the book teaches you about what foods you should be eating, how often, how much to eat, and then how to personalize the plan for yourself. It’s really complete and I didn’t feel like it was missing anything.
Components 2-5 are great. The supplement guide is a quick way to check which supplements you should be taking. The meal logs are super helpful for planning your diet and getting success. The cheater’s guide is my favourite component. It teaches you how to cheat on your diet and still get great results. I think this will allow you to have more success on the program because no-one wants to eat clean all the time. We all have lives. Component 5 is very helpful as a quick reference for foods you should be eating. I printed it off and use it as a grocery list when I go grocery shopping.
Who is The Man Diet for?
Chad did a great job making this program work for everyone… except women.
This makes sense, because it’s called “The Man Diet”, and not just “The Man and Woman Diet”.
Now, this brings us to age. While the principles in the program work great for men at any age, I think the most noticeable results will come for those who are older than 27. When you’re 18, your testosterone levels are at their highest. They start to slowly lower until you are 27. Once you hit 27, this is where things start to fall apart for men. If you think you have symptoms of low testosterone, then the Man Diet is for you.

Has The Man Diet Created Real World Results?
On this page, Chad has included 3 client testimonials. His first client lost a lot of fat and built a defined body and a 4 pack (almost a 6 pack). He was super excited about his results.
The 2nd client testimonial showed a guy who was obese and then got his body fat down to healthy levels. He doesn’t look like a fitness model, but he looks happy and super healthy. He actually suffered from low energy until starting the Man Diet.
The 3rd client testimonial is jaw dropping. It looks like the guy lost about 10lbs of fat and gained 20-25 lbs. of muscle. This was the most impressive transformation.
Besides those 3 testimonials, there wasn’t much more I could find on people’s results. Either way, the results were pretty great. With that being said, the diet is supposed to increase your testosterone levels. How can a picture show you the results of this? Testosterone is inside the body and can’t be photographed. The guys who gave Chad testimonials were obviously happy, so they probably increased their testosterone levels and feel like men again.

Comparison to Other Programs
To tell you the truth, I’ve never seen a program similar to Chad Howse’s The Man Diet. Sure, there are tons of fitness programs out there preaching to build muscle and lose fat. But The Man Diet is just a diet program for men. It helps them build muscle and lose fat by increasing testosterone naturally. The only other program that is similar to it is the Paleo Diet. But, the Paleo Diet has much lower carbs than The Man Diet, and the Paleo Diet doesn’t allow you to eat your favourite cheat foods like cake, ice cream, pie, pizza, beer, etc. With the Man Diet, you can have these foods.
When The Man Diet is on sale, it sells for $19. When it’s not on sale, it sells from $39 – $99. At this price range, it’s worth it. I personally wouldn’t spend more than $100 for the program because it doesn’t include any training videos or anything super high-class. You get everything in PDF form.
Here’s the real kicker though. If you were to pay for drugs to increase your testosterone levels, you’d pay thousands of dollars. With The Man Diet, you pay a fraction of that to increase your levels naturally. This is a much safer method too.
So at $19-$99, the program is a steal.
